Are you the Service Engineer we are looking for?

MWS Weighing Solutions is looking for a Service Engineer to join our growing North East service team.

You will have an enviable position in the industry working for one of the largest independent manufacturers who offer a broad range of weighing products.

The role will require you to have excellent verbal and written communication skills, plus a reasonable level of knowledge in industrial and laboratory weighing equipment.

Core duties include but are not limited to:

• Routine calibration and maintenance visits
• Breakdown call outs
• Calibration procedures to UKAS and ISO 9001 standards
• Installations and commissioning of new equipment

Experience/Qualifications:

We require a minimum of 2 years’ experience as a field service engineer within the weighing industry. Working in laboratories and manufacturing sites carrying out UKAS calibrations is preferable but not essential to your success in gaining employment.

A keen interest in expanding your abilities and knowledge base into new developments within the industry is highly desirable.

A clean and current driving licence is essential as this position requires extensive travel around the United Kingdom; the role can see travel of up to 20,000 miles per annum.
