M425 Rotary Torque Sensor:
The industry standard, Datum Electronics Series M425 non-contact Torque Sensorrange has been designed to fit with most general applications and solutions requiring rotary torque and power measurement. Static torque can also be measured.
Covering an extensive measurement range, with high accuracy and precision, the M425 torque sensor is an ideal solution for anyone looking to measure torque on a rotating system, such as an engine test rig, a drive line, transmission or pump, in real time.
We appreciate that customers may want to configure their own transducer so we include, as standard, configuration software, which will also display and log data for you. You can be up and running in minutes!
Variety of sample rate options available
High Accuracy & Repeatability
Industry standard for rig applications
Extensive range of Torque: 10Nm - 60kNm
Variety of digital and analogue output options, including a display
Available on short lead times
FF425 Flange to Flange Torque Sensor:
Do you need to mechanically attach your transducer in-line using flanges? No problem, our Series FF425 Series will do the job! FF425 Torque Transducers with flange couplings at either end have been designed to fit easily into most drive trains, reducing the cost of installation.
Flange couplings at either end
Ideal design for easy fitting to drive systems
Configurable sample rates
Rotary Speeds up to 20,000 rpm
Standard, Off the shelf, range up to 30kNm
Bespoke Range to 14MNm and larger
We have built transducers to 14MNm for the FF425 design including the world's largest torque and shaft power transducer, weighing over 5 tonnes.
RS425 Torque Sensor (With Completely Separate Rotor and Stator):
Not enough room to fit a transducer in-line? Do you have shaft alignment concerns? Do you expect higher RPMs? Our Series RS425 Series Completely Contactless Torque Sensors with shaft connections at either end, have been designed to fit directly into most drive shafts/trains, reducing the cost of installation.
Combining the latest electronics and technology from the M425 range with high torsional stiffness, RS425 Sensor provides a reliable and highly accurate torque measurement solution or many practical applications, such as transmissions, powertrains, wind generators, gas turbines, and many more.
Completely Bearing-less Design
Configurable Sample Rates
Can Be Built to Customer Specs and OEM versions
Higher RPMs available
Standard Range from 100 to 30kNm
Bespoke Range to 14MNm
Covering an extensive torque range as standard from 0-10Nm to 60kNm, the 425 Series transducers are easy-to-install and can operate in challenging environments, providing you with data accuracy of better than 0.1% error and high resolution (up to 24 bit). We supply transducers, which can measure from 3Nm, up to 14MNm, recently supplied to our satisfied customer.
Complete Torque Sensor Measurement Solution:
All torque transducers are supplied with free simple to use utility and display software and come complete with a certificate of calibration, valid for 12 months. In addition, 425 Series Torque Sensors are compatible with our Datum Universal interface, including built-in display, giving real-time data, with additional analogue and serial data, USB, and Ethernet outputs, if required.
Designed and built with reliability and repeatability in mind, the Datum 425 Series Torque sensors range is the 1stchoice for validating product performance and optimising efficiency.
