Phoenix Contact’s New Robust RJ45 Modules for Industrial Applications

Phoenix Contact GmbH & Co. KG (Germany) - Phoenix Contact has now launched new RJ45 socket modules on to the market, in a compact design, suitable for industrial applications.

Versions for DIN rail mounting as well as for integration into existing panel mounting frames allow use in a wide range of possible applications.

The socket modules are suitable for use as coupler modules between two RJ45 connectors as well as for direct connection of solid and stranded conductors (AWG26 ... 24). All versions are designed for 10GBASE-T applications, thereby enabling data rates of up to 10 Gbps over cabling distances of 55 meters in the case of coupling modules according to CAT6, up to 100 meters in the case of cable connection modules according to CAT6A. The zinc die-cast housing of the installation modules is free of halogens and heavy metals, in accordance with RoHS 2.
